Food 2 Table Tour in Nairobi - 2019
AKA - GO GRANNY GO
A local NGO teaches impoverished single women looking after their grandchildren how to farm pigs in order to set up a sustainable operation that will provide continuing funds. One tenth of all earning must go for the children's education. As a tourist you can participate by purchasing a piglet to be given to a Granny. You'll get to meet the ladies and hear their stories, help make chapatis with apple and banana salad for lunch, and of course - hold a piglet!

THE SAMBURU - 1982
The Samburu tribe lives north of the equator in the geographically fascinating Samburu County of Northern Kenya. They are closely related to the Maasai tribe who also live in East Africa. Both these tribes speak a similar language, derived from Maa. Originally a nomadic tribe, the Samburu tribe today still embraces their nomadic culture while jointly running some of the best Kenya game lodges.
